Lesson 4 – When the Stars Fall (part 4)

After John sees Russia's nuclear attack on the United States and it's allies, he also sees the heavenly command for the angels to seal the bond-servants from all the harmful effects that can be brought by the winds that carry radioactive particles.
As the seventh seal is broken, John experiences a silence in heaven for half an hour. This silence is contrasted with the cataclysmic events of the sixth seal when the stars fell to the earth causing earthquakes and dust clouds that blotted out the sun. The fact that this silence is only half and hour is significant because it perfectly describes the immediate U.S. retaliation against Russia. The flight time for intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) to Russia is 30 minutes.
John also sees the seven angels with the seven trumpets standing before God. John is also given a personal insight into the affect our prayers have before God and the resulting action that transpires in the physical realm by men on earth.

Week Four Summary

·       Nations described in Prophecy can be identified by several methods.

·       A king from the far north with an alliance of nations will attack Israel.

·       God will call for a sword against this attack, and this northern alliance will be defeated in its attempt to take over Israel.

·       John sees falling stars that resemble our current day nuclear warheads and describes other effects that occur from a nuclear war.

·       The nuclear attack appears to be against a nation that knows Christ as the Lamb.  Christ stops the wind from blowing to seal His bond-servants from fallout radiation and poison effects from the nuclear explosions.

·       Currently, only two nations possess the weapons capability described in this nuclear attack, the USA and the Russian Federation.

·       The multitude of Christians that die in the initial nuclear attack provides evidence that Russia will be responsible for starting the nuclear war and is indeed the Gog of Magog in Ezekiel 38.

·       The US will retaliate against Russia by launching the Minuteman ICBMs (30 minute flight time) before they are destroyed by the Russian attack.

·       One third of the earth will be affected by World War III.

·       This day of nuclear exchange begins the final 3 and ½ years.
