Lesson 4 – When the Stars Fall (part 2)

The Sixth Seal – Nuclear Attack

·       The following scriptures are John’s detail description from a heavenly viewpoint of the major cataclysmic events that many prophets described in the Old Testament.  This event identified by John as the “Great Tribulation” signals the beginning of the last 3 ½ years before Christ returns.

o   Rev 6:12  And I looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood;

o   Rev 6:13  and the stars of the sky fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts its unripe figs when shaken by a great wind.

o   Rev 6:14  And the sky was split apart like a scroll when it is rolled up; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

o   Rev 6:15  And the kings of the earth and the great men and the commanders and the rich and the strong and every slave and free man, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains;

o   Rev 6:16  and they said to the mountains and to the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the presence of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb;

o   Rev 6:17  for the great day of their wrath has come; and who is able to stand?"

·       The stars falling from the sky could be meteorites, but in the context of war these have to be Inter-Continental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs) carrying nuclear warheads (only long range warheads look like falling stars because of their velocity at re-entry).

·       Never before during war did commanders and leaders go underground to hide.

·       These people must be Christians, because they know about the wrath of the Lamb.

·       In order to determine who is involved in this attack, we must examine the world’s nuclear powers and where they are located.
